International Festival of Mono-Performances “Atspindys”
Public undertaking “Visagino Atspindys“ was founded in 2006. The main scope of this public undertaking is to organize annualy an international festival of mono-performances “Atspindys” and by doing so to continue and develop the professional cultural theatrical tradition in the city of Visaginas, to annually bring together the best worldwide creators of mono performances into an environment favorable to the theater, in addition to this, to encourage their collaboration and to promote continuation and development of the tradition of mono performance genre in Lithuania.
Besides the previously mentioned festival, the public undertaking “VšĮ Visagino Atspindys“ team organizes another international festival, named “Druskininkų vasaros teatro SANKRYŽA“ (“Summer theater CROSSROAD in Druskininkai“). This is the only professional theatrical artistic event in Druskininkai resort providing holidaymakers a possibility to spend their holidays in a thoughtful manner and to get acquainted with theatrical culture in Lithuania and foreign countries. Many holidaymakers in Lithuania are already planning their holidays and combining them together with this festival time.
In addition to this, our public undertaking organizes tours of the best Lithuanian performances and performances from foreign countries in other Lithuanian cities.
The main sponsor of the Festival and of the creation of this internet site is Lithuanian Council for Culture (Lietuvos kultūros taryba).
